Though he is oen of the most accurate kicker on the field, yet his mission off the field is to kick hunger and this is what exactly he is doing through his charity- The Goulden Touch.

The Goulden Touch foundation was started by Robbie Gould eight years ago with an aim to simply help those in need. In a recent event he team up with Humana and the Norther Illinois Food Bank in an attempt to bring awareness among the people of surrounding Chicago area.

Gould said that he has always been involved in charity work but somehow was tired of working under others. This made him to start his own charity that would further become his legacy after football. He also mentioned that a team effort was important for the success of this mission.

In the area of DuPage, Illinois, nearly one in five children remain hungry because there is no enough food to eat. The food drive taken up by the charity is sure to create awareness among the people and also help the children with meal backpacks containing cereal, whole grain pastas and other healthy food items.

Robbie Gould also said that it came as a great opportunity to help create awareness and motivate younger people. He also told that he was aware of the problem that existed but never knew to what extent it was present. One in every five children is a big number and this was facilitates him to get involved with the cause.

The Goulden Touch stands on four pillars. These are Education, Medical Research, Health and Wellness, and Social Service. Through his charity and team effort, Gould has been able to bring awareness and treat the problem of child hunger.
